Bocaj Vodka: Drink for the Stars

Jacob Arabo, world renowned jeweler to the stars, has officially launched an exclusive new vodka, BOCAJ, to the New York City market.

In honor of the launch, BOCAJ Vodka will make its world debut as a sponsor of a red carpet event at TAO in Las Vegas on September 8,2007 in conjunction with the MTV Video Music Awards.manship present in both the food and design of the restaurant.

Like a precious diamond, BOCAJ will be sought after by aficionados who understand and appreciate exquisite quality.

An age old family recipe derived from grapes, four times distilled….the result…a truly flawless vodka.

BOCAJ’s unique packaging pays homage to the most luxurious of elements……..the diamond.

Hosted by Nelly and Jermaine at the TOA Las Vegas sponsored by BOCAJ. Ashanti, Nelly, Janet Jackson Jermaine Dupri and Alicia Keys attended.

Bocaj Vodka presents itself like a diamond in the rough: blue velvet bag, platinum rope, glamorous bottle. It's a new liquor created by star-studding jeweler Jacob Arabo--Bocaj is "Jacob" backwards if you hadn't noticed--with a flavor worth the extra glam (and the extra bucks) for a special night.

After four years in the making, Arabo came up with a high end vodka with a high-end look. The vodka is four-times distilled from grapes (as opposed to wheat), and blended with mountain spring water for a refined luxury taste that's clean on the palate--no stinging, and no cringing, like you do with so many other vodkas. Because vodka is the virtual chameleon of liquors--in kamikazes, screwdrivers, bloody marys, long island iced teas, and myriad other cocktails--quality is often passed over for quantity, then masked by other sweet flavors. This is not the vodka for that.

Bocaj vodka is what you'll want to be drinking as a treat at the end of the week or that recent promotion. Whether or not you'll have the honors of unleashing your own bottle from that (potentially obstreperous) blue velvet bag depends on your willingness to splurge on the $75 price tag; Gothamist thinks it's worth it, but for starters, you can also request Bocaj at one of the restaurants and bars it's served at in New York: Buddha Bar, Cipriani Dolci, Caviar Russe, and Sofrito among others. Bocaj Vodka can also be found at various retailers around New York City.
